Positive places

Little homes with happy thoughts.  Pretty witty today eh?  That title and little ditty came to me while I was driving this morning.  Norine mentioned once before that the title of our blog posts is the hardest part and I can’t agree more … most times it is the hardest part.

In my next couple of posts, I am going to be highlighting die-cuts and ephemera.  There is so many different things inside the packages and the different pieces are absolutely perfect for layering.  They can be used for cards and layouts and I think they look pretty cute on these mini wooden houses.

Wouldn’t one of these make a cute little gift for someone?

So I had to have fun with some goodies we have in the store and make a little happy scene.

These two look cute together, I think.

These little Maya Road deer have been in the store since before Christmas, and I have never actually taken one out of the package.  Aren’t they the cutest ever?

I can’t decide whether I like the brown or white deer better, both are adorable.  For my last happy scene, I just had to try the little Maya Road mini wood slices.

This house is perfect and needs no extra accessories.

These were so fun to make, and I have tons more die-cuts to use.  If you haven’t bought a package before, I think you would truly enjoy using them.  If you have some and haven’t really used them, open up and a few packages and put them together.  You will love how you can mix and match all the different pieces.  I have opened three different packages and mixed and matched things to make these houses.  I have TONS left and will show you a few more things I made with them on my next blog post.

Thanks for dropping by today, we appreciate your visits to our blog!

All kinds of fun

things to show you over the next few days …

dec-4-1

Perfect for treat giving, small and larger sizes … matching food safe tissue available as well.  I love these, and can’t wait to fill a few.

Mini houses … these were tucked away for quite some time, and Natalja brought them back to life again with a modern decorating style (she also found my mini ruler stash *grin*).  She turned her creativity into fridge magnets, how awesome.  Buy a completed set, or the supplies to make your own.

dec-4-3

I had to make another style of gift bag … and I love the striped tissue that comes with this one.

dec-4-4

We have added some more gift items to the store, and these bath bombs and bubble scoops from Lend Me Some Sugar are just amazing.  Lip scrubs and tub soaks also available.  All scents are to die for.

dec-4-5

One of the amazing new coloring books in the store.  We have a HUGE assortment of coloring books, watercoloring books and card fronts, pencil crayons, watercolor paints, gel pens, tombow brush pens, distress markers, distress crayons, and MORE!

dec-4-6

This stand is one of the first things you see when you come in the store … also featuring another new item we are stocking … Brittles n’More.  I can’t tell you how amazing the chocolate and candy products are.  So popular, we have ordered more to fill the shelves before Christmas!  And … for those of you who decorate cookies, the most awesome cookie boxes (at bottom of shelf) - cute as can be in kraft and gold colors - with slanted food save slots to show off your baking.

Thanks for dropping in today, and have an amazing Sunday!
