Fun with Custom Orders

I hope you aren’t tired of me showing different things that customers have ordered over the past few weeks.  I have to say that I am so happy that so many wanted us to make things for them.

My pocket gift card holders … we had a lot of requests for these, and here is just a few of the ones I made.

I love to sew on paper … fabric not so much … but paper, yes … love how it looks and I find it relaxing to do.

Here is one group of them that was requested … glad I remembered that we needed to take some pictures.

One lucky lady is going to receive a beautiful big gift bag full of fun things that we wrapped up for her by request of her husband.  Isn’t her tag the cutest ever?!!

Her and her three daughter-in-laws will be receiving special packages from one awesome man.  It was so much fun putting these together and wrapping up the packages inside, I can’t wait to hear what they thought of them.

A fun day

Today I had fun, I watched everyone who came in to make a one paper gift bag choose their paper and then decorate it.  Everyone has a different idea and it’s fun to just watch everyone create.  Thanks to all who came in.  If you weren’t able to come in, there is a how to link on this post.

Today, I also got to help a girl finish the cover of a mini album she is making for her boyfriend, and then bound the book for her with the bind-it-all.  I watched a friend decorate the cover of 5 journal/notebooks.  I made 8 gift packages/gift tags/goodie bags for someone in need of some custom gifts for this evening.  I had customers, visitors, and was just busy the whole day.  So much fun, really … creating with others is the best!

And now I would like to share a recipe a friend gave me … it’s SO good … but, I always forget to take a picture.

Lemon Crunch
3 cups flour
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
1 1/2 cups coconut.
Mix and crumble and spread half on bottom of 9×13 pan.  Prepare 2 lemon pie fillings and put on top of crust.
Cover with remaining crust.  Bake 350 for 20 minutes.
