Do you have a pet? If so, does he/she get a present for Christmas? At our house, you betcha - Zero gets a present, probably more than one.
One thing he gets for sure is chocolate covered milk bones from The Chocolate Factory. These are safe for dogs - chocolate dipped dog biscuits and he loves them. Quote from The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory - “WOOF! WOOF! Yes we even offer white chocolate dipped Dog Biscuits for your favorite dog. Containing no cocoa or caffeine these biscuits are safe for your dog, though they may be addictive dogs love them so much!”
He usually gets some kind of toy, and some kind of ball - and yes, a big box of honey nut cheerios to go into his treat ball. My Dad used to buy him something, and Paul’s Mom also knitted him things - like an afghan for his bed, a pillow, etc. Yes, Zero is one spoiled dog.
Zero prefers soft longer toys that he can shake around - when he is playing by himself - something like this one. When he is playing with us, he likes to have a small soft ball for us to toss.
I’m interested, do your pets get Christmas goodies? And, *grin*, does your dog “give” presents for Christmas? Zero has been known to give everyone a little gift.

No we don’t give our dog a gift and if I count DS’s pets we don’t give the rabbits or chickens anything either.
I know my Mom gets a gift of some homemade dog biscuits for my brothers dog who they look after. Also when we were younger the cats gave us gifts : )
I don’t get my pet anything, we buy him enough little things year round because the kids just insist he MUST have it! LOL! But, I know my mom did get Jonas something for his ’stocking’ so I guess I should get him something too. ROFL!
You know, I spoil my cats like crazy, but I never got into the present-giving thing with them! Does that make me a bad mom??
And Chipper’s birthday that falls 2 days after Christmas too… and he gets nothing! Well, I did celebrate Chipper and Sable’s birthday once when I was living in Alaska and they came home to Montreal with me for Christmas break. They were 6, and Sophie was 5. We had a little birthday party, with presents, a birthday cake for humans and a “cake” for the kitties, in the shape of a mouse, made of canned cat food! That was funny!
My cat and dog share a stocking….so they each get one toy and 3 bags/boxes of treats each. (Santa told me, cuz how would I know that?!!) As for giving gifts, they do if I remember…which is sporadic and random from year to year! {lol}
Last year we (my siblings and I) gave my parents a dog for Christmas and of course he came with all the good stuff like toys and a comfy bed! But this year we are not giving little TJ any presents because he is spoiled enough as it is!
On the other hand I was SHOCKED to see a couple presents under our tree from Zero! Justin says he is a great gift giver!
This is our first year with a pet and she will be getting her own stocking of goodies from Santa!!
We have always bought presents for our dogs! They are our “children” too and they actually are far more entertaining with their new toys than kids are! And my Dad always buys them a box of cookies from Grandpa! We got cute little stuffed animals that squeak for Quincy and Teddy!
Brutus usually gets a toy, sweat/jacket and some treats but this year, Santa is poor so he’s only getting a small treat. Steve said that if I get more toys for the dog, he’s throwing them out. lol He’s already putting some away cause even through we put them in his chair, he still drags them all out to play with.
