Mrs. Claus, oh Mrs. Claus!!!

Shame on you Mrs. Claus ….. do you remember this contest?

*Embarrassed reply* ….. “Yes, I do, and I have been reminded a few times ….. it’s on my list, I just have not got to it.  I apologize to everyone.  Without making you wait any longer, here goes ….. We received some fabulous entries, let’s have a look.”

Dear Mrs. Claus
I really was a good girl this year.  In fact, I finished all the Christmas projects I had planned for everyone on my list - except for myself.
I have wanted to make a button tree for a long time.  I bought the styrofoam cone and buttons over 2 years ago, but I could never find the time before Christmas and was too burned out after Christmas to ever complete the task.
So, the materials have sat in a closet for the past two Christmases, but thanks to you, I finally did it!  The buttons were all white and purchased from the thrift store.  I dyed some pink and green with my alcohol inks and pinned away.  This project took much more time, buttons, and pins than I ever expected, but I now have a gorgeous 15″ tree to display next year.  Thank you Mrs. Claus!
Hope you are keeping warm at the North Pole.  It is a cold one here today.  And, if you ever drop by I will be sure to have some milk (or coffee) and cookies ready.  Thanks again!
Sincerely
Allison Hamm

Hey Mrs. Claus…..this is not a BIG project by any means but it’s the one that I wanted to do and just never got around to before Christmas…I saw a tut to make these little garlands and I just loved how cute it looked!!
This turned out super cute and I want to make one for Valentine’s day now too!!!!!!

Dear Mrs. Claus,
I have been a good girl so far this year.  You will be happy to see that I have recycled some old containers by covering them with scrapbooking paper.  They are now all ready to fill with Christmas cookies or treats to cheer up my friends and neighbors this coming Christmas.  This is the earliest I have ever prepared something for Christmas and I am quite pleased with myself to be so ahead of schedule.  Thank you for such a great example of early preparation.
From,
Serena Gedlaman

Dear Mrs. Claus
I wanted to make something for my parents to display in their home with pictures of all of their grandchildren.  I had tons of fun creating this, thank you for this challenge.

Now wasn’t that fabulous?  Did it put you in the mood for doing any early Christmas projects?  The entries were all fabulous, thank you gals for all of your hard work.  Seriously, I am in the mood to get a head start on another Christmas project.

From Mrs. Claus

Using the December kit - Chance of Flurries, I completed this adorable train. The Collage Press Joyride papers worked perfectly. Although it was not finished in time for Christmas, I still love it and will leave it out now for a little while - we have to have time to eat the candies, right? *grin* Click on picture for larger view.
