Day 9 of the #12daysofholidaygiftwrap…

Hi, hello, me again!!  Day 9 of this holiday-focused gift packaging series of posts!

Today, we bring you two paper bag envelope/gift bags (depends on the contents, I guess?) that might look a little feminine and other-occasion-specific, but the concepts and techniques still apply beautifully for a Christmas gift bag.

This first gift bag was run through a Big Shot machine with an embossing folder and then I layered up with the die-cut ephemera pieces to create a lovely and versatile gift package.  The top of the bag has been die-cut with an edge die that folds over at the top and layers with a piece of patterned paper, that coordinates with the rest of the embellishments.

Supplies are pictured below.

The next example is a Birthday gift bag (or card envelope) that is trimmed with 3 different patterns of washi tape and then embellished with pretty ephemera die-cuts.

Supplies used are pictured below.

You can see how little it takes to dress up a plain paper bag, whether it is kraft or white or even patterned, and how quickly you can have a lovely packaged gift for a friend or loved one!

There’s still more!  Check back tomorrow for additional ideas for last minute wrapping!
