Snowy Wooden Houses

Happy Sunday!

I hope you are doing well and enjoying you’re weekend! The last little while, Lori and I have been working on a cute project which I will be teaching soon!

Some of you may have seen these “Wonder” crate paper wooden houses in store, but now they’ve finally made it onto the blog! We used the “Mint Wishes” Kaiserkraft paper for this project and made sure that it was a decor piece that you could have in your house for the entire winter season, rather than just for Christmas.

2a4b3799-57ac-4936-a1c3-ecfa5edfae85We used dies to cut out the words “love” and “cherish,” and also the cute little birds and branches from Kraft paper.

e6626277-28c4-4fc2-b26f-6287a446ed3aI added a little (oh… I always forget what they’re called!)…clothesline clip?..to the big square on the top right section of the house, so that you can insert a photo or a note, whatever you’d like, and can easily switch it out whenever you’d like. Lori had a photo of her son and daughter in law at the store, so we clipped it in to give you a look at what a photo inserted would look like.

Oh and the wreath…I couldn’t find any mini ones, so I got some fake mini foliage from a Hobby store in town to put one together. I love how realistic it looks. Also, I almost forgot! Don’t you just love the ’snow’ too?! I used a glittery texture paste to help create the wintery scene.
