Snow and Flowers

Posted by Natalja on November 5, 2017

Hello everyone!

I hope you are all staying nice and warm in this snowy weather! My layout today features, for some dreaded and for others welcomed, snow….oh and flowers!

Don’t you love how Kaiserkraft managed to fit flowers (and not they’re not even poinsettias!) into a winter/Christmas line?

For this layout, both the background page and the flower and leaf die cuts, are from  Kaiserkraft’s “Mint Wishes.” I had so much fun arranging the flowers, since it felt so much like arrangeing real flowers…with the different sizes of the blooms and the various leaf shapes. I used foam squares, doubling some, to create a bit of depth in the ‘arrangement’.

I couldn’t stay away completely from Crate Paper after all….and used the “Think Happy”  and little “x” chipboard pieces from their “Chasing Dreams” line.

Also…how cute is my pup? This girl was with our family for the greater part of my life and it was sad to see her go, earlier this year. I’m pretty sure all she’d say to me (all the time) though would be to ‘think happy’…isn’t that what all dogs do? So it seems fitting to put those words with a photo of her…

And with those words I’d like to wish you a wonderful and ‘think happy’ kind of week! Thanks again for stopping by!

Love the look of this LO!  The photo stands out nicely with the arrangement and colours of the embellishments.  It has a very clean and simple look to it.  Beautiful!
