Beginner Cardmaking

Posted by Lori on March 19, 2017

On Tuesday, I will be teaching some “newbie” cardmakers.  I’m pretty excited about it, but I am also a little worried.  I had a really tough time trying to figure out what cards to create for them.  I don’t want to overwhelm them, but I don’t want them to be too easy.

They wanted some “spring like” cards, so I hope that I have come close to what they would like.  Here goes …

Matting, some foam tape, and some stickles … cute, simple enough, but still a couple things to learn.

Simple layering/piecing, baker’s twine, and a handmade envelope.

This card requires layering from behind, and then we will stamp a sentiment on the inside.

Washi tape and peel offs, simple, but cute.

So, what do you think, enough little techniques and cuteness for a beginner class?
