Gift card holder extravaganza

Hello everyone!  Well, the weekend is here, the last weekend before Christmas.  I know that most of you will have lots of things to do this weekend … shopping, baking, wrapping, gatherings, etc. etc.  And I wonder how many of you are going to see Star Wars?!!

Today is Day 7 of Liitd 12 Days of Christmas and random prize draws.  To be entered in our random prize draws, comment here on the blog posts each day and like our Facebook page and/or Instagram posts.  Tag us - #loveisinthedetailsdotca - on Facebook and/or Instagram with your Christmas creativity over these days to be entered as well.  Winners will be announced randomly throughout these 12 days.

At our last big crop in October, I spotted Carol Thiessen working on some pretty awesome gift card holders.  I just had to take pictures and save them to show you now.  A gift tag set (available in the store) and Bo Bunny’s Sleigh Ride (available in the store) … embellishments, die cuts, glitter and a few other things … and well … just have a look.

Carol made the tags, attached them to our little bags (which will hold the gift cards) and then the little clothespins will keep the gift card safe inside.

On the backs she has a place to put the “To” and “From”

A closeup to show all of the gorgeous details.

Carol used white lace and she also tea-dyed some white lace to use on these.

It’s great to see how she used so many different dies to make embellishments to decorate the tags.

I just love how she put stickles in the center of the sequins.

The glitter and bling on the clothepins is the perfect touch.

Thank you Carol for letting me take these photos of your beautiful creativity, I know you really enjoyed making these.  Each recipient is going to love the gift card holder just as much as what’s inside.
