Happy Life…

Posted by Norine on June 10, 2015

Hi again!  Last summer most all of our kids managed to make it out to the cottage at the lake during the same sequence of days and it was wonderful!  My photographer daughter wanted to do a styled photo shoot with the married-for-one-year couple and the cottage of our kind and generous neighbors, who let us stay in their place while we worked on our own, was full of the greatest props for just such a shoot!

So these are some of the photos that came from that!  You can check out the Bespoke Photography shoot here and also here.

I tried that thing again, where I modified the background paper a little, by stamping that lovely floral stamp in behind the floral die cut.  And about those die cuts though!  They are Kaisercraft’s Oh So Lovely line and Lori has them and the papers from that line in the store!  Oh my goodness, I haven’t seen anything so pretty in a very long time!!  So then to try and unify the look on the page of the stamp and the die cut, I used a Sharpie liner to outline some of the die cut image.  Kinda loving that a whole lot!!
Can’t remember where I got that badge from; it’s been sitting on my desk asking to be used for a while.  The tag is another Forever 21 clothing tag and those Robin’s Nest Dewdrops are so yummy right?  I got them from Lori.  I don’t see them in the store but they might just not be listed on line, so call her if you need some.  She can fix you up!
The happy die cut is cut from wood paper, and the wood grain chipboard letters are October Afternoon.
Thanks for coming by today!
