Grade 2

I have all these old photos from when my kids went to school and I don’t want to lose them, but what do you really do with them?  I decided to go through and scrap some.  I found an old one of my son from grade 2.  what a little cutie he was back then. I found some boyish paper and started to layer it on.  I die cut a circle and decided to let the paper work for me. The circle does a perfect job highlighting the 2.  I found his report card and I stamped out a few of the comments and used them as the journalling. It’s a clever way to add journalling. The notebook paper punch adds a little interest as well.   I stamped a number of stars out on white cardstock with black archival ink and cut them out and added them around the layout.  The simplicity of the layout design compliments the subject of the layout just as I wanted.

Time to dig through those old school photos and see what you can come up with.
