A Magical Vacation!!

Well, I haven’t had much time to actually scrapbook lately… but I have made a few things for our Disney trip.  Yes, I am headed to Walt Disney World with my younger daughter, Makenna!!!  My mom takes each grandchild when they turn 8 years old… now that Makenna is 9 and still hadn’t gone, my mom figured it was now or never…  We didn’t realize at the time that she wouldn’t be able to join us, as she is in the middle of chemo treatments, but my aunt is taking her spot and we will meet her in Orlando.  Not quite the trip we envisioned, but it will still be VERY magical!  I have planned until I couldn’t plan any more!!

The little things that I have done for our trip I thought I would put on my blog post today!

‘Mousekeeping’ is the housekeeping at the Disney World Resorts.  We like to leave them a little tip every day, nothing big but something to show our appreciation.  Last trip I didn’t think of making anything special to put it in, but this trip I did!  I have an envelope done up for each night there with the money already inside… Labelled so that they will clearly know it’s for them.  And of course a cute little tin to keep them tucked away in until we use them.

And then I decided that instead of buying her the same autograph book that everyone else carries around, I would make her a little tag book to get her autographs in!  I put the characters on the front, some with just plain Disney quote, hole punched and put a clip through with some ribbons on it.  She is so excited to have this out in the parks!!!

I will leave off with some very special layouts to me that I completed over the last year.  Dari left behind oodles of memories in Disney pictures, and I wanted to do something with them for her kids to have in the future….  This is just a few of the pages in the album that is tucked away for them.
