Prima Doll Tag 2.0

I was inspired by Jodi’s Prima doll tag last week. I was also inspired by an amazing shipment of Lasered Edge chipboard.   I got out my stamps, some ink, glitter and a few scraps of paper and went to town! I started by preparing my chipboard pieces.  Both the doily and the adore heart were covered in gesso.  While the doily was still wet. I sprinkled on some micro beads and glitter and allowed it to dry.  I flicked on some Lindy’s Stamp Gang sprays when it was all dry.   The heart was coloured with Copic markers.    The tag itself is the new Prima watercolour paper tags.  I sprayed it with various colours of Lindy’s sprays. I added some gesso and throughly dried it.  I stamped it in various places with a few different stamps.  I took the ribbon and soaked up the overspray from the Lindy’s sprays. The doll was stamped, coloured with Copics, stamped and distressed.   I paper pieced the skirt so that there was added dimension to the ruffle on the skirt.  A felt flower and a little bit of bling finished off the tag.   I would love to see your Prima doll creations -just upload them into the gallery!

Happy Wednesday everyone!
