Uptown Kids

Good morning lovely friends!

I made a layout yesterday!  Imagine that!  I’m not all-cards-all-the-time after all!  I used some lovely Authentique paper from the Grace line, that I picked up in the store last month and some plain chipboard alphas by Amy Tangerine.

uptownkids-redI hadn’t played with stencils and molding paste for awhile, so I pulled that out too, as well as the distress ink and blenders.  Then I had a strong desire to SEW on my layout, which was a hard itch to scratch since I didn’t bring my sewing machine with me to the cottage.  What I ended up doing was poking stitch holes with my Tim Holtz paper piercer, and then drawing stitches over those lines with a white pen.  Bet you wouldn’t have noticed if I hadn’t pointed it out, right?!

uptownkids2I die cut a leafy die with a Memory Box die, using some graph paper that was close at hand.  Also, check out the gold rub-on quote that’s applied right on the photo.  Love that look!

uptownkids3I hope you found something today to inspire some creativity for you!  Thanks for stopping by!
