More chipboard goodness….

(I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of playing with these chipboard items!!)

Lori and Love Is In the Details are hosting the Spring Crop this weekend and I thought I’d show you some of the items I brought along to display at the crop - to show the versatility of these chipboard words.  They’re not just for cards!

This cute little 6″x6″ canvas has a white spray painted chipboard phrase centered on a heart shape that was created with masking, stencils and pink, peach and red tinted molding paste.  It was approximately here where I discovered how much I actually love making multi-media messes!!

The next two chipboard mini albums also use some stencils and molding paste, some inking, heat embossing, washi-ing, spray painting, and embellishing!  The chipboard title on this first one was spray painted gold, then covered with Ultra-Thick-Embossing-Enamel and while it was still hot, I dropped glitter and micro beads into the UTEE and let them set.  (VERY fun and cool!)

The “Life is Good” sentiment was smeared with three shades of InkaGold.  Now there’s some fun stuff, lemme tell ya!!

And, you might remember seeing something similar to this a few months back?  The method shown below is quite a bit easier to create.  Just buy chipboard, adhere to canvas board, spray paint white.  I don’t actually think it can get any easier without asking your mom to make it for you!

“Love you for like ever” turned out to be my favorite project!  It consists of layers of tissue paper, dictionary paper, gesso, stamping, washi tape, covered and embellished with random bits of corrugated paper, metal and paper flowers, felt leaves, and cheesecloth.  I can see using this chipboard on a layout as a title as well!

And finally, a couple of layouts using the chipboard titles!  This first one was spray painted with white and gold spray paints because I couldn’t decide which I would like better.  And I’m kinda happy with the results of my inability to decide!

The last LO uses a piece of bare-naked chipboard for the title.  Frankly, it’s the form of chipboard I like very best!  Just something about the raw, organic look of it pleases me greatly.

I’m having a great time at my very first Love is in the Details crop and I’m so happy to be meeting so many of you blog readers for the first time!

Thanks again, for stopping by!
