Happily ever after…

Hi everyone!  Got alphabet stickers?  Dimensional ones?  I bet you do!  Need a way to use some up?  Check this out.

I’ll be honest and tell you that I saw the idea on Pinterest and ran with it.  Here’s how it went together though.

I bought a canvas (11″x14″-ish), a can of white spray paint, gathered up a variety of old chipboard and foam alphabets, and started laying them out.  It was handy that most of them were so old, they’d long ago lost their sticky, so I could move them around as much as I wanted.

When I was happy with the overall look and layout, I started gluing them down.

And then began spray painting.  In my spray booth.  Aka, my side yard.  I did at least spread some plastic over the gravel.

A few light coats did the job and I had this awesomely cool prop for my DIL’s shower and a gift to give them for their new home.

Easy.  Fun.  Meets all the requirements for something worth doing!
