Technique ~~ Norine

It’s fun to try new and different techniques, and a good way to start is by making a card.

Quoting Norine ~~ “I made this card by stamping on an (old) vellum tag and heat embossing with silver emboss powder. The left hand paper is made using a fun faux letter press technique. When you lay the emboss folder open, you rub a ink pad all over the raised surface of the side that will be “debossed” when you’re finished…or the part of the design that is NOT raised. Then lay your paper in the folder, close it up and run through the Bigshot back and forth a few times. I like to “huff” on the inked folder just before running it through to make sure the ink is still moist. I used Stazon on ink and no heat setting is required.”

Quoting Norine ~~ “Detail shot that shows a little better, the embossing and inking from the “letter press” technique.”
