Creative Sunday ~~ Chelsea

Happy Easter everyone!

Lots of new items coming in every week at the store, lots of variety, lots of different things for everyone’s different styles.  Every once in awhile something new comes in that may be completely out of your comfort zone, but intrigues you and makes you want to go out of your box.  With that said, Chelsea has something to share with you today.

Quoting Chelsea ~~ “Graphic 45 Olde Curiosity Shoppe is NOT my usual type of line…. in fact, Graphic 45 has never been in my stash before, that I can remember. I think Lori fell to the ground when I told her that I wanted to try it out for April. I hope that I can do it justice, because this line really is beautiful. I love the earthy, rich colors, and the patterns on the papers are all definitely ones that I had no problem digging into and using.”

Quoting Chelsea ~~ “The ‘Butterfly Specifics‘ paper that is available in this line, can be used 2 ways.  I decided to fussy cut 2 of the 49 butterflies on that paper, as embellishments! Just think…. 49 butterflies, 49 embellishments. What a steal of a deal! Each one is uniquely different, varying in size as well. Great idea to make the most of your patterned paper!! ”

Quoting Chelsea ~~ “I happen to think that distressing is a must with this line…. the added texture to these papers just make them so much more rich and deep. Crack out your tools, inks, whatever strikes your fancy, and distress away!!!”

Quoting Chelsea ~~ “I love making cupcakes. As much as I love eating them, which unfortunately is a lot…. I love making them even more. And what makes me the happiest, is giving them away. It’s my new obsession, finding new recipes and handing them out to friends and family, as well as random people around town!”

Chelsea, I gotta say, I am SO glad that you moved away from your comfort zone and tried something new, because you totally ROCKED this Graphic 45 line!  Wowsers!  Everything is gorgeous, stunning!  Chelsea, I can tell that you loved using these papers, and I am thinking, maybe, just maybe, we might be seeing a bit more of this style from you?!?  It’s all absolutely fabulous!
