Chelsea, wrap it up!

Ever since we added the packaging department to the store, I have loved the glassine bags.  I like to encourage everyone to try them, there is so many different ways to use and create with them.  In Chelsea’s last package, I tucked some in for her and now, let’s take a peek at what she did with some of them.

Quoting Chelsea ~~ “The store carries some pretty awesome packaging items. Take these glassine bags for example. I used the 3 3/4 x 6 1/4 bags to create envelopes for invitations.  But, I jazzed up the outside with some papers and embellishments, folded down the tops and punched some holes and then threw some ribbon through to tie them up! Just a little fun way to play around with them, they don’t just have to be for goodies and snacks ;)

Quoting Chelsea ~~ “For this layout, I decided to use the smallest glassine bags, and incorporate them into a way to store my journalling. I used 3 bags and matched them with 3 plain tags and backed those with some patterned paper to add a bit of color to that area. Throw on some ribbon and you have some great ‘hidden’ journalling! Think outside of the box with the packaging items from the store…. they have many great uses!

These are fabulous Chelsea, the glassine bags worked great for the envelopes/pockets for your invites, and they also worked perfectly for tucking away the hidden journaling on your layout.  It’s fun to see the many different ways you can use these simple little bags.  Thanks Chelsea, I love what you did with them.
