There really doesn’t have to be a reason …

… to send someone a card.  Sending a *just because* card can make the recipient feel pretty happy, sometimes changing a pretty *blah* day into a pretty amazing day.  And for yourself, a little creative time in your scrap area can be a pretty good ending to a busy day.

I needed a little time in my scraproom, just needed an hour to relax, create, and not really think about anything.

I started out with a blank card from one of our kraft cards and envelopes packs - I love these cards and envelopes.  I picked out a few paper scraps and decided to add a piece from a sheet of vintage cuts, a tiny doily and a piece of shabby crinkled and dyed ribbon.  Then I added a few buttons, tied them with twine, distressed the edges and added a little bit of pinecone ink.  It was just a little bit of scrapping time, but it felt good to just sit and unwind.

Yeah, some days are just like that.  Haha!

Come on everyone,  it’s February - the month of love ….. sending some good old happy snail mail can be lots of fun.  And besides, it’s a good way to use up some scraps, cause you know …………………. CHA goodies will be rolling in pretty soon.
