One of the *hot* items this year - I think they are the coolest ever - I haven’t used mine yet, but very soon I am going to break them in.  Tonight, I was doing some searching for recipes and ideas.  Most of the recipes I found are in French, so I am going to have to find myself a translator, but oh my, I did find some pretty awesome photos.

I have tapered ones and I have ordered oval ones - and now I can’t wait to try them out.  And, oh wow, just before I was going to sign off, I found this next picture ….. it’s not in a verrine, but you could make a mini version of this in a verrine.  YUMMO!  (click picture to take you to recipe)

    I am hungry now too!!  I don’t have any, but would love to try this…. might have to find some to make due until I get my hands on some real ones ;)

    The closest thing I have to those would be shooter glasses! LOL

    Those are some pretty looking appetizers & desserts!

    i have the Epicure oval ones… and I think they would be great for layering a ceviche in, and topping it with a shrimp, or a raw oyster! But I keep thinking of a sushi or sashimi-in-a-glass idea, too…
